KIWA

All intallations for storage of K1, K2, K3, K4 and other liqud storage tanks must, according to Dutch law, satisfy certain conditions.  In the Barim & Rarim, it is indicated that all installations must be KIWA certified.  The waTch LCS system are KIWA certified.

In Barim ( Besluit Algemene Regeling Inrichting Milieubeheer) (General deceion scheme for interior environment) and Rarim ( Regelgeving Algemene Regeling Inrichting Milieubeheer) (Regulatory control equipment for the general environment) refer to the regulations KIWA BRL-K903.  Here, it is succinctly stated as to what regulations a tank must comply.  The agricultural sector in the Netherlands did not immediately comply to these regulations, but as of July 1, 2011, all plants in the agricultural sector comply to the BRL-K903.

All installers in the Netherlands who actively focus on building and installing tanks have to satisfy the KIWA directives for tanks. This directive clearly indicates what conditions a tank system has to meet, including the accessories. The directive BRL-K903 has been used for building tanks Netherlands for some time.
